what is RSV
RSV is a respiratory virus that typically causes mild symptoms resembling colds. Most people heal within one or two weeks. RSV is a serious illness for older adults and infants.

RSV Transmission
When an infected person cough or sneezes.
You contact the virus directly.
You touch any surface with the virus.
Preventions
wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Take steps to relieve symptoms
Manage fever and pain with over-the-counter fever reducers
Drink enough fluids.
Talk to your healthcare provider before giving non-prescription cold medicines.
